Hello,

M. GOUAMID is an associate professor of chemistry at Kasdi Merbah University of Ouargla (Algeria), an industrial consultant & Civil rights activist.​

My Research has been focused on diverse range of topics related to biopolymers, Corrosion, environmental science, drilling and completion fluids. Currently, my research activities are focused on the structure and functionalization of biopolymers with special emphasis on cellulose and lignin in date palm byproducts (Phoenix dactylifera L.) and the transformation of biopolymers to bioproducts (cellulose nanocristals, composites, supercapacitors, direct fuel cell and inhibitors of corrosion) and their applications in remedying of environmental problems
